Animals for Life has many pets available for adoption!

New! In addition to all of the cats and kittens currently in foster care, we now have cats available for adoption at the shelter! All cats and kittens receive age-appropriate vaccinations & are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If you are interested in adoption, please visit the shelter or come on out to one of our feline adoption events and fall in love with a wonderful feline companion.

Most of the dogs in our care are housed at the shelter that we share with Middlebury Animal Control. Our canine volunteers provide the dogs with regular exercise, visits to the veterinarian for medical care and manners training. All of our dogs are fully vetted and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Visit the shelter during any of our adoption hours and you're sure to meet your next best friend! If you are interested in a dog or cat who is listed as being in a foster home, please call ahead to let us know when you would like to visit. We will be happy to make an appointment with you to meet the pet of your choice during your visit!

Our public adoption hours are: Thursdays 5pm-7pm and Saturdays & Sundays from 12pm-3pm.

Sunday, April 6 11am-3pm:
Join Animals for Life and the Northshore Animal League at the Petco at 1401 Boston Post Road (Rt. 1) in Milford. We will have many dogs and cats who are waiting to meet you and your family from 11am-3pm. Just look for the adoption van in front of the store!
