It's me Dakota. I am so happy and so busy. Thank you for saving me. I patrol the borders of my yard at lightning speed at least a hundred times a day. I love my yard. Then I check on any chipmonks, squirrels, etc. that may be intruding. I have spotted the deer in the woods behind my fence, but I can not really chase them. I have so much to do, I barely have time to play ball. I said BARELY. Dave loves it when I play with him. Today we went shopping and bought a Frisbee. Boy am I good at that.
Yesterday I met Dr. Vali. He gave me my last distemper shot and my micro chip. It hurt a little, but I still gave him kisses because he was so nice. Mary was great too. She taught my mom how to distract me when a new dog comes in. I was so good in the car that today I got to go on mom's errands with her. When a group of ladies came by the car to meet me, I did all my cute poses and they oohed and aahed.
We have had so much company, but I found if I take turns sitting at each person's feet, they are all mush in my paw.
I walk like a pro on a leash in my yard because I have checked that all out and know that I will soon be able to check it again. Not at night, mom makes sure I am with her on a leash even in the yard when it is dark. I hear there are coyotes
near by.
However I cannot resist almost pulling her to the ground on my walks. There is too much to smell, too much to chase, and too many new dogs to meet. I am being limited because of this. A trainer is coming next week to help us both. I am trying to improve on my own. Perhaps the Blessing of Animals this weekend will help.
Did I say thank you for saving me. This is the life.

Kane arrived at his forever home in September of 2011. He is loved very much! Some of his favorite activities include relaxing on the couch with his Daddy, going on long walks, running at the Dog Park, and riding in the car. He gets along very well with his bird brothers and sister, his turtle brother, Willis, and his doggie cousin, Cooper. He wants to be friends with everyone and the feeling seems to be mutual among everyone he meets.

Chance was adopted from Animals For Life in November of 2011. He is having a great time in his new home.
Reese : Reese is being spoiled at her new forever home with her new parents the Adelsteins. Reese's new parents Vicki & bruce says that she is a great watch dog and has busy days of Hiking, getting groomed, having bites of hamburgers and going to visit grandma.
Little Lucy: Little Lucy found her forever Home. Her new family absolutley adores her and loves to take her to the dog park on a regular basis. Little lucy is so happy when shes playing with the other dogs at park. She is tiny but can hang with the big boys.
